Fans will be getting more frequent updates about the upcoming Halo Infinite, 343 Industries commits.

HALO INFINITE WILL HAVE “INSIDE INFINITE” MONTHLY UPDATES

Responding to a reddit post on Monday, 343 Industries Community Director Joseph Staten says Halo Infinite updates are coming as soon as this week.

In the reddit post, a fan expressed their worries about 343 Industries' perceived lack of communication with fans. To this, Staten responds, “Considering we went 12-month stretches of total darkness and our last update was on December 8, I don’t think there’s any cause to worry.” He then added that the development team has been communicating with fans as much as it could. After all, they've already revealed the Fall 2021 release window last December 2020. “We also confirmed our Fall release window in that update, so now it’s clear we have some runway ahead of us and some time to go.”

“That said, we’re committed to at least monthly high level updates and the next ‘Inside Infinite’ is coming out this week!”

Fans shouldn't expect any big Halo Infinite news, though. Joseph Staten continues further that they won't be having any bombshell announcements that will rock your world. Instead, they are focusing on showing fans about their progress and sharing more insights with the community. “…Our goal is to offer our community more context and insights into our team and the game we're making while we're all awaiting the larger beats and full marketing machine later this year,” Staten concluded.

Microsoft initially planned to release Halo Infinite alongside the Xbox Series X as a launch title. However, a July 2020 gameplay demo during the Xbox Showcase received a poor reception from fans. This prompted Microsoft to delay the release of Halo Infinite to 2021. They hope this will give devs enough time to polish the game and meet fan expectations.
