The 2020 NFL regular season is already past the midway point with Week 10 now rapidly approaching. With Thursday Night Football only a day away and the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans kicking things off from Nashville, Week 10 could be a pivotal week both for the NFL and for fantasy football owners throughout the world.

With bye weeks and COVID-19 testing results still weighing heavily in regards to who plays and who doesn't, Week 10 could make or break a season—especially for teams that are 4-6, 5-5 or 6-4. If fantasy football owners are going to keep things trending in the right direction this week, most will need a stellar performance from under center by their quarterbacks.

QBs to Start in Week 10

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

It was recently revealed that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson believes that the opposition is calling out the team's offensive plays and schemes before the snap. While Jackson was clearly perturbed with such a notion, one can now expect the reigning NFL MVP to come out swinging in order to prove a point in Week 10 against the New England Patriots.

With the Ravens and Patriots slated to battle it out on Sunday Night Football, Jackson in primetime just screams a big performance waiting to happen—especially against a team that is struggling like New England. Even though New England is fresh off of a win over the rival New York Jets, it was an ugly victory for the Patriots in Week 9 and likely not one that entices strong confidence.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Although Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is must-watch television every single week, it is his team's opponent that truly makes his a must-start in Week 10.

With the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars up next for Rodgers and company, the dismal AFC South franchise just can't seem to get out of its own way and is certainly in line for yet another loss. The Packers are far and away the better team here while Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams and running back Aaron Jones should have absolutely no problem routing Jacksonville in Week 10.

The only issue with Rodgers may be that the Packers score too many points too quickly. Seriously. Not that it's a terrible problem to have in fantasy football.

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and the new-look Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled mightily in Week 9 against the rival New Orleans Saints. With the Saints absolutely pouring it on in primetime against the Buccaneers, there is just simply no way Brady allows his team to play poorly for a second consecutive week.

Another divisional rival in the Carolina Panthers lined next up for Tampa Bay and one can expect Brady to have a huge game in Week 10. As his team continues to regain its health, Brady and the Buccaneers will more than likely only get stronger as time goes on. Not only that, though, but the Panthers will once again be without superstar running back Christian McCaffrey, who now has an injured shoulder after previously missing several weeks due to a lingering ankle injury. McCaffrey returned to the fold for Carolina in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs before being forced from the contest with a second setback. Obviously, the Panthers are just not the same team without him.

QBs to Sit in Week 10

Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts

It is no secret that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers absolutely loves throwing costly interceptions. With the Colts playing on a short week, on the road and against a rival Tennessee Titans team that got back on track in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears, there is just no way to fully trust Rivers in Week 10. More specifically, the Titans got right on defense against a middling Bears offense, which may not bode well for Rivers and the Colts. The Titans haven't lived up to the hype on defense all season—outside of Week 9, that is.

With this being such a big game in primetime and the Titans clearly the better team at this point in the season, with the Colts most recently losing to the Ravens in a game that wasn't particularly close, fantasy football owners must stay as far away from Rivers as possible this time around.

Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers

With the rival Buccaneers currently on a massive revenge tour against the rest of the NFC South after coming up way short against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9, the Carolina Panthers may have a tough time in Week 10. Making matters worse for Panthers starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the team will once again be without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, who has been forced to the sideline with his second injury of the 2020 campaign.

With Bridgewater lacking the ability to dump the football down to McCaffrey in emergency situations coupled with an angry Buccaneers team on the opposite sideline, the Panthers signal-caller probably isn't the best option for fantasy football owners looking to win in Week 10.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has had an absolutely outstanding season after originally being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of LSU.

However, Burrow has yet to get his first taste of the Bengals' rivalry against the heralded Pittsburgh Steelers, who will come in Week 10 against an undefeated opponent.

Even though Burrow has been unable to really do any wrong as a rookie in 2020, there are few units that click on all cylinders like the defense of the Steelers. With Burrow surely slated to be under pressure all day long against Pittsburgh, this might finally be the week that the first-year signal-caller encounters a stinker of a game. Burrow is only human, after all, while taking the gamble against the Steelers just doesn't seem like the correct play under center in Week 10.

The Steelers are stingy on defense to begin with while taking on a divisional opponent that may be on the rise certainly won't sit well with Pittsburgh. The Steelers will definitely be looking to make a point against Burrow and company, with the rook not likely to put many points on the board for fantasy football owners.
