The Jacksonville Jaguars will hit the road to face the Denver Broncos in Week 4. Consider the fantasy football implications. Among them, some fantasy players may have their attention focused on Leonard Fournette on Sunday.

The Broncos defense has been solid to begin the season but there are some noticeable weaknesses so far. With that being said, can Fournette have a break-out game in Week 4 in Denver?

We are now three weeks into the season and the Jaguars' running back has yet to have a dominant fantasy performance this season. The bruising running back is currently the 17th highest-scoring running back in fantasy with 39.3 fantasy points this year.

Fournette hasn't gotten on track in Jacksonville's offense but it's encouraging to see the workload he is getting. Despite his size, the LSU alumn has become a consistent receiving threat for the first time in his NFL career.

Through three games, Fournette has caught 14 passes for 94 yards as a pass-catcher. At the same time though, Fournette has failed to find the end zone on the ground or through the air.

Nonetheless, Jacksonville's featured back is poised to finally get a touchdown in Week 4 versus the Broncos. Again, the Broncos hasn't been awful, allowing just 255 rushing yards to running backs this season (12th least in the NFL).

On the other hand, Denver's defense has been susceptible to allowing running backs to run across the goal line. As a matter of fact, the Broncos have surrendered five rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs in 2019 (most in NFL).

Considering that, Fournette could be in for a remarkable outing in Week 4. Above all, we are looking for touchdowns from our running backs and he can get one or two of them this Sunday.

Fournette has been handed the ball 43 times this season and on Sunday he should see a healthy share of the carries once again. The Jaguars know they aren't going to win this game by throwing it 50 times with Gardner Minshew (a rookie quarterback) against Vic Fangio (a veteran defensive-minded coach).

Both the Jaguars and Broncos are going to attempt to get their ground game going this weekend. Furthermore, the winner could be decided with which team is able to run the ball effectively.

With where he was being taken in fantasy drafts, Fournette's owners are counting on him to provide them with fruitful results. Fournette hasn't done that yet but this could be the week we see him be a top performer in fantasy at his position.
