There's been lots of action through the first three weeks of the NFL. There's a moderate amount of wideouts that'll be sidelined ahead of Week 4, possibly leaving fantasy football owners perplexed. There are also some wide receivers who just haven't lived up to the hype so far.

*Additionally, here are ClutchPoints’ top waiver wire pickups at running back and quarterback*

Some wide receivers have had great success while flying under the radar this season, a few as recent as Week 3. With the right selections, owners can pick up quality receivers at little to no costs based off the success they've been having so far versus the little expectations placed upon them at the beginning of the season.

Here are a few pickups that you can find useful going into Week 4 at the wide receiver position for your fantasy football roster.

5. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (WR, Green Bay Packers, 37 percent owned)

Green Bay Packers wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling will certainly come up big in Week 4. The Packers will be facing an Atlanta Falcons club that is desperate for a win with everything falling apart around them. Wide receiver Davante Adams was out against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, giving Valdes-Scantling an opportunity to showcase his talents.

He didn't seize the moment however, catching one pass off four targets for a total of only five yards. Though Allen Lazard stole the show on Sunday, this outing could be Valdes-Scantling's for the taking against the Falcons if Adams remains out. Scantling has caught a total of eight passes from 17 targets for an overall total of 165 receiving yards through the first three games. He's also scored one touchdown.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has gotten off to a spectacular start this season, meaning good news for Valdes-Scantling if he shows up to play in Week 4. If so, the wideout is an easy pickup that can give you a much-needed boost in the passing game.

4. Allen Lazard (WR, Green Bay Packers, 39 percent owned)

As aforementioned, Lazard showed up to play against the Saints on Sunday, and it paid off grandly. Lazard finished off the game catching six of his eight targeted passes for 146 receiving yards along with one touchdown. The performance largely comes at the expense of Adams' absence due to a hamstring injury.

Still, that can't take away from Lazard's magic on the field. The Packers are showing that they possess more talent than previously thought. Halfback Aaron Jones had a career game as well against the Detroit Lions in just Week 2. With Adams sidelined, Rodgers has more than likely been grateful with the surplus of talent that has stepped up.

This type of performance may not occur regularly for Lazard as Adams returns, but it gives the Packers more options at Rodger's disposal. Adding Lazard to your roster will beef up the fantasy points with his performance that's bound to occur against the Falcons.

3. Keelan Cole, Sr. (WR, Jacksonville Jaguars, 26.7 percent owned)

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Keelan Cole, Sr. is another player looking to capitalize off the unfortunate injury expense of another player. The key fantasy football note is that Cole will see more targets in the event that wideout DJ Chark, Jr. remains out with a chest and back injury. Chark will more than likely miss more time ahead of the Jaguars Week 4 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals are currently 0-2-1 after a tie with the Philadelphia Eagles. Cole may have his hands full with a Cincinnati defense that totaled three sacks and two interceptions against the Eagles.

Cole caught four of his five targeted passes for a total of 43 yards that resulted in a 31-13 loss against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. His production can likely increase against the Bengals, as he caught for 58 yards and one touchdown in his previous outing in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. In Week 1, he completed all five of his catches for 47 yards along with one touchdown as well.

Cole may prove to be an easy pickup in Week 4.

2. Anthony Miller (WR, Chicago Bears, 29.1 percent owned)

Chicago Bears wideout Anthony Miller is out to prove himself this season. At this point in the season, Miller may be an early steal for most fantasy football owners. He's coming of a game against the Falcons in which he caught two of his five targeted passes, one of which was a critical touchdown pass that sealed the Bears victory. He finished with 41 receiving yards as well.

His touchdown doesn't necessarily tell the entire story. Miller has scored a touchdown in two of three games so far this season. He's also had 40-plus receiving yards in two of those outings. Playing alongside wideout Allen Robinson who was spectacular against the Falcons may be a bit of a challenge, but this offense if in the midst of a slight remake.

After rescinding quarterback Mitchell Trubisky to the bench and inserting Nick Foles, Miller may get an increase in targets. If not, having a stat line of one touchdown and 40-plus yards a game isn't a bad look for a receiver who is not the No. 1 option.

1. Gabriel Davis (WR, Buffalo Bills, 0.2 percent owned)

You read that right. Less than one percent of the fantasy football world has Buffalo Bills wideout Gabriel Davis on a roster. After helping take down a formidable opponent in the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, that may quickly change. The rookie was selected in the fourth round with the 128th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He wasn't expected to come in and contribute heavily to the Bills offense.

Fast forward through three games in the 2020-21 season though, and the rookie has done quite well for himself. Through three games, he's caught all seven of his passes for a total of 103 yards. The bulk of his receiving yards came in Sunday's controversial win over the Rams, in which Davis had a helping hand in the deciding moments as well. Thanks to a pass interference call involving Davis, the Bills went on to improve their perfect record.

Davis' lone touchdown for the season also came in the big win against the Rams. In fellow wideout John Davis' absence due to a calf injury, quarterback Josh Allen could look to feed the rookie wideout in their next game against the Las Vegas Raiders. If John Davis is unable to go, expect Gabriel Davis to make the most of his moment once more for fantasy football owners. He'll more than likely see an increase in targets in Week 4.
