The Portland Trailblazers announced yesterday that they signed former Golden State Warriors center Festus Ezeli for a 2 year/$16 million deal. He will now join the vastly improved Blazers roster which features the dynamic backcourt of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum.

Ezeli spent the last 3 seasons in Oakland and contributed to their Championship in 2014. He averaged a solid 7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in only 16.7 minutes off the bench and often gave quality minutes to relieve the starters. He appeared in 46 games last season and was sidelined due to different injuries.

His move was not much of a surprise anymore as the Warriors needed to create cap space in order to sign Kevin Durant. Most of the Warriors bench in 2015-2016 have already signed with other teams. Leandro Barbosa, Andrew Bogut, Marreese Speights, and Harrison Barnes are all gone now.

As a farewell to the whole of Dubnation for supporting him the past 3 years, he posted this somewhat of a 90's-esque video on his twitter:
