Square Enix just showed off the new Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker benchmark trailer at the latest Letter from the Producer Live. The trailer shows the Warrior of Light fighting in a snowy field and walking around the new Endwalker zones. It also shows a climactic battle with all the allies the Warrior of Light has amassed throughout the game's lengthy Main Scenario Quest. The incoming Reaper and Sage jobs also shared some time in the spotlight.

The benchmark for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will be available on July 11. It will also allow you to use the character creator early if you're looking to play as the incoming new race, Male Viera.

The rest of the live letter recaps some details from the FFXIV Digital Fan Fest earlier this year. Some new information has also been released: Pandaemonium, the new 8-man raid, will be released 2 weeks after Endwalker launches. The Savage mode difficulty will follow 4 weeks later. Additionally, Myths of the Realm, the 24-man Alliance raid series, will also begin in patch 6.1.
