The Baylor Bears advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament and they took care of business en route to the championship. Despite the expectations of a close game, Baylor dominated Houston on Saturday to reach their first NCAA basketball championship game since 1948.

Baylor has been able to roll through their schedule in the NCAA Tournament, defeating Hartford, Wisconsin, Villanova, Arkansas, and now Houston. Following Saturday's lopsided win, Baylor has defeated four out of the five teams they faced by double-digits. Arkansas was the only team to keep it within single digits, losing the game by nine.

The impressive victory on Saturday marks the first time that Baylor will be playing in the NCAA championship game since 1948 when the team defeated Kentucky. This time around, Baylor will be facing the winner of UCLA and Gonzaga, who play on Saturday night.

To help them advance to the National title game, Baylor was led by Jared Butler, Davion Mitchell, and MaCio Teague in the starting lineup. Besides Butler, Mitchell, and Teague, Baylor also had double-digit scoring from Matthew Mayer and Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua.

After their dominant performance against Houston, Baylor has proven they are capable of beating anyone as they've held all but one of their opponents to under 70 points, including Houston. If Baylor is able to convert three-point shots at the clip they did on Saturday, they could be hoisting the first championship trophy in program history.
