To the surprise of everyone, Logan Paul went the distance against Floyd Mayweather in their exhibition fight in June. It didn’t really seem like Money Mayweather was trying to knock out his opponent and it appears that could’ve been the case.

According to the Daily Mail, the legendary boxer didn’t finish Paul because he didn’t want him to get hurt, says Floyd Mayweather’s cousin and member of his entourage, Dejaun Blake.

“Once again, it’s an exhibition, like Floyd said, he’s not a boxer, why would he want him to get hurt and not be able to go home and talk to his family,” Blake said

“One punch could change the game, why would he want to hurt him like that?”

“A lot of people said, “You should knock him out for all the s*** he’s talking”,” Blake said.

“But at the end of the day, Floyd Mayweather loves the sport that he’s been involved in, but he also hates what comes with the damage that comes after the sport is over.”

Both fighters raked in a bag of money for the event but there was lots of criticism for the lack of entertainment in the bout. Mayweather was even seen holding up Paul at one point.

Whether Blake’s comments are actually true or not, it certainly did seem like Floyd Mayweather took it easy on Logan Paul.
