“Today marks the day I officially retire from the NFL. I will have a press conference here soon with Giants. I just to tell yall that I am full. I am complete and humble that I ever got a chance to play in the NFL. I still can't believe that I made it sometimes. I am excited to see what God has in store for me next. If you know anything about me that means life is just getting started. I got a lot of things I want to do.”

The 32-year-old spent his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, and New York Giants where he recorded 3,772 rushing yards with 23 touchdowns in 93 career games. His best campaign came in 2015 with New York where he garnered 863 rushing yards along with 296 receiving yards with four total touchdowns.

In his final season, Jennings had held down the starter role with the Giants in 12 of the 13 games played racking up 593 rushing yards with 35 receptions for 201 receiving yards. He had proven to be a versatile running back throughout his career with the majority of that time being a major offensive factor for each of the teams he played for that span.

The Giants are expected to hold a press conference in the near future for Jennings to formally retire from the NFL.
