It has been a couple of years since veteran forward Ronnie Brewer last played on an NBA roster, and it was with the Chicago Bulls.

The 32-year-old took a step backward with a recent arrest for driving with a suspended license that came due to a DWI arrest that came weeks ago, according to Gavin Lesnick of Arkansas Online.

A report from the Fayetteville Police Department shows Ronnie Brewer, 32, was arrested about 3:15 p.m. after being pulled over near North Leverett Avenue and West Sycamore Street.

A former Razorback basketball player who went on to play in the NBA was arrested Wednesday in Fayetteville weeks after he was charged in a DWI case.

He had been given a temporary license due to the case that expired on August 21, but his full license is currently suspended through February 21, 2018. This latest arrest could lead to even more legal issues for Brewer and further cloud the future of his professional basketball career.

His last stint came in the 2015-16 season with the Santa Cruz Warriors after being selected in the second round of the 2015 NBA Development League draft. Brewer now finds himself on the outside looking in to getting back in the league and these recent arrests could cause NBA teams to hesitate on bringing him in.
