A new professional men’s summer basketball league, akin to The Drew League, is set to debut this upcoming summer in 2017 and has a bevy of former NBA players joining the ranks.

Called the Champions Basketball League, this pro-league is strictly for players who have played in the NBA and has a host of teams across the country, from Los Angeles to Dallas to Boston. There are 16 teams set to play and rosters are going to be announced periodically for each of them.

The roster for the New York-based team, called the Gotham Ballers, was recently released and features quite a few recognizable names. Among these names are Kenyon Martin, Shawn Marion, Al Harrington, Eddy Curry, Jamal Tinsley, and many more.

This is a fan oriented league designed to really involve the spectators with meet-and-greets after games, athletes in the audience, and even shootarounds with the players.
