Remember Anthony Bennett? Well, if you forgot about him, you aren't alone as Bennett has been recently been playing in Turkey and has been off the NBA radar. However, Bennett's professional basketball career has hit another snag in Turkey and he is now without a team to call home.

According to Eurohoops.net, Bennett's team in Turkey had to cut him because there just wasn't enough roster space for him:

The club decided to assign Pero Antic back to the BSL roster, which has limited spots for non Turkish players. That made Bennett the odd man out after seven BSL games, during which he averaged 9 ppg and 6.4 rpg, playing 23 minutes per game.

So far Bennett has also played in nine EuroLeague games, averaging 1.3 ppg and having very small contribution to the Turkish team, which will be the host of the EuroLeague Final Four.

The Cleveland Cavaliers picked Bennett No. 1 overall in the 2013 draft and then included him in the Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love trade the following season. After one season with the Timberwolves, Bennett played for the Raptors and then for a brief spell with the Nets. Now he can't even find a job playing overseas, which is just yet another sad turn of events for Bennett.
