In another crossover between Fortnite and DC, a new Batman Outfit is set to drop in the game. The Batman Who Laughs will become the fifth Batman skin in the series alongside the arrival of the Batman/Fortnite: Foundation comic.
The Batman Who Laughs is a Joker-fied Batman from a dark dimension. Writer Scott Snyder introduced the villain back in 2017. Snyder will also contribute to Fortnite DC‘s upcoming Foundation comic.
Just like the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comics and the Harley Quinn skin, anyone who buys the physical Foundation comic will get access to an inclusive code for the skin pack. For those who may not be planning to grab a copy of the comic, players can also purchase the Outfit through the Fortnite Item Shop the same day.
Through the redeemable code, players will get to unlock the new Dark Multiverse Set. Aside from The Batman Who Laughs Outfit, the latest Fortnite and DC-themed set additionally contains the Robin’s Perch Back Bling and a comic-exclusive Dark Days Loading Screen. Also available for in-game purchase are a Dark Multiverse pickaxe and glider.
As for the comic, the latest title in the series refers to a mysterious figure called The Foundation. The character was sealed away by the Zero Point in the last Batman/Fortnite story. But a trailer for the upcoming comic shows that The Foundation is alive—although underwater at Gotham City harbor.
Fans won't have to wait long to see the exhilarating continuation to the tale, with both Batman/Fortnite comic and skin slated for release on October 26.
