While not officially out yet, we already know that there will be an upcoming Marigold skin on Fortnite. The female Midas skin got leaked by dataminer HYPEX on Twitter, and all points suggest to her coming to us soon. Meanwhile, players will be curious about how to get Marigold. Fret not because even though Epic Games hasn't revealed Marigold yet, leaks already tell us the full story.

HOW TO GET MARIGOLD SKIN IN FORTNITE

The Marigold skin is based on the Midas skin, which came out all the way back to Season 2. Thankfully, Marigold will not be locked behind a battle pass. She will be released between the end of Season 5 and the start of Season 6, so she won't fit into any battle pass anymore. With the current Season 5 battle pass expiring, Marigold is just too late for that.

Instead, players will be able to purchase the Marigold skin with V Bucks inside the Fortnite store. Fortnite leaks suggest that she will be available as part of a bundle. Dataminers also found accessories and cosmetics that fit Marigold's aesthetics. Therefore, it may be safe to assume that a complete Marigold bundle with her accessories will be available to purchase in the Fortnite store.

MARIGOLD SKIN RELEASE DATE IN FORTNITE

Since Epic Games hasn't officially announced Marigold yet, there really isn't an official release date yet either. Her files appeared in the recent update version 15.50, which suggests that she may be coming sooner than later. With all things considered, Marigold may be released before or alongside Season 6.

With the Season 5 battle pass expiring on March 15, we can expect Season 6 to roll in right after that. Marigold may come over to the Fortnite store before that.

Meanwhile, Marigold may also appear in the Season 6 battle pass. While this isn't usually the case for skins that are offered in the Fortnite store, it's not completely outside the realm of possibility.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN FORTNITE SEASON 6?

While Epic Games has been mum about Season 6 so far, dataminers also found some interesting things in the update version 15.50 game files. Of course, there will be the battle pass which will be available for 950 V Bucks for the standard version and 2,800 V Bucks for the battle bundle.

Meanwhile, all throughout Season 5, the “Zero Point” portal, which is presumed to be the center of the universe. Over the past few weeks, players have observed the portal to crack and found some ‘pulse effects' applied on the Zero Point, which gives us clues as to what might happen at the Season 5 finale and the Season 6 premiere.
