A lot of Fortnite players think that Epic Games did Morty dirty by bringing him into the game as a pickaxe only. Apparently, your feedbacks caught Epic’s attention, thus the birth of the brand new Mecha Morty skin. Morty joins the invasion to give his grandpa Rick a helping hand.

How to get the Fortnite Mecha Morty skin

After being leaked for a week, Mecha Morty is now available in the item shop today and will most likely last for a week. Mecha Morty costs 1,500 V-Bucks, but we suggest that you purchase the Mecha Morty Bundle instead for only 2,200 V-Bucks.

This bundle includes the full Morty C-137 set:

  • Mecha Morty (Outfit)
  • Morty’s Backpack (Back Bling)
  • Space Snake (Harvesting Tool)
  • Get Schwifty (Emote)
  • Look at me! (Wrap)

As always, players have the option to purchase the items in the set separately. Morty’s Harvesting Tool costs 800 V-Bucks while both the Emote and Wrap costs 500 V-Bucks each.

The Get Schwifty emote is a nice little reference to Rick & Morty Season 2 Episode 5. The duo’s impromptu beat drop helped save their planet from a giant alien head threatening to destroy the earth. Since Fortnite’s island is currently experiencing an invasion, we wonder if getting schwifty would once again save the day.

The Rick and Morty duo is complete and we can finally get to experience their full force combo. It’ll also be hilarious if Mecha Morty equips Hammerhead Morty since Hammerhead Morty is an alternate version of Morty C-137. We’ve seen Rick and Morty go on numerous adventures, now we’ll witness them save the Fortnite island.
