Building mechanics return in Fortnite after experimenting for a while without the building mechanics – players rejoice.

While everyone is enjoying and has finally adjusted to Fortnite’s new meta, looks like an old meta is coming back. As of March 29, the building mechanic will officially return to Fortnite.

Not only did Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 usher in the continuation of the ongoing storyline, but, also introduced a new meta. This new meta involved the removal of Fortnite’s core gameplay mechanic, building. It took some time for people to warm up to this sudden change, but eventually, everyone learned to love it. Apparently, according to iFireMokey’s initial datamine, No Build Mode would only last for the first 9 days of the season.

Seeing as how March 29 is the final day of No Build Mode, we should be expecting building back by then. This comes as sad news to many, especially to those casual players who just came back to Fortnite for no building. On that note, we have some good news for everyone who’s sobbing right now. Chances are No Build Mode will become permanent in Fortnite sometime later this season. If you want to know more, you can check out the details here

Whether you like it or not, Build Mode is coming back to Fortnite on March 29. The game wouldn’t be what it is today if they suddenly decided to permanently remove the feature that made them popular. However, Epic Games is a company known for always listening to its player base. They’re aware that a lot of players are enjoying the current meta and their player count also increased because of it. It won’t be too long until Epic brings back No Build Mode as a separate game mode in Fortnite. For now, the sweaty Fortnite players can rejoice and enjoy the wonders of build battling in the battle royale island.
