In partnership with O2 and Island Records Games, Epic Games will be hosting yet another concert on Fortnite. This time, it's going to be held in a digital O2 Arena, with UK band Easy Life holding a concert there this Thursday.
O2 announced the partnership ahead of releasing tickets for the rest of Easy Life's UK tour. A faithfully rendered version of O2 Arena (at least, on the outside) has appeared in Fortnite‘s Creative Mode, and players can now visit the location in-game. To get there, players will just have to go to the Creative Menu, click Discover, and enter the Island Code 2500-3882-9781.
The Fortnite Easy Life concert will run from 3:30 PM ET June 24 to 7:00 PM ET June 27. Simply enter the Island during this time period, and follow the signs leading you to the concert. There will be a portal on the top of a flight of stairs, which will then take you to the virtual event. The portal will bring you to different areas, each one made specifically to fit songs from the band's playlist. There's a total of six different locations for the band's six-track act.
For their part, it seems like Easy Life is thrilled to be performing on Fortnite. “Being the first UK act to ever perform in Fortnite Creative, and for that performance to take place inside a venue as iconic as The O2, is truly humbling,” vocalist Murray Matravers said. “We’re all huge gamers in the band so getting the chance to appear in a game this popular is a childhood dream come true.”
In case you're busy during these times, don't fret. Easy Life says they'll be uploading the concert on their Youtube channel on June 28.
