Frank Gore has been one of the league's most productive running backs through his first 13 seasons. He has yet to lose his strong passion for the game with eyes toward taking the field for at least another year to add to what's been nothing short of an impressive and likely Hall of Fame career.

With the growing expectation that he won't be returning to the Indianapolis Colts, Gore will hit the free agent market as one of the more intriguing running backs available. According to Stephen Holder of the Indy Star, the 34-year-old further cemented his plans to play in 2018 while also voicing that there are teams interested in acquiring his services.

Gore has plenty of mileage on his legs and body, but he continues to show that he is still an effective runner after rushing for 961 yards in 2017, only 39 yards short of eclipsing 1,000 rushing yards in a single season for the 10th time in his career. This included posting a season-high 130 yards on 36 carries against the Buffalo Bills, nearly carrying the Colts to a victory in the snow.

He still has plenty to offer any interested team, as he demonstrated he can handle the workload of a primary running back after recording 261 carries last season, which was eighth most in the league. In fact, he has at least 260 rush attempts in each of the last three years with the Colts despite all of the wear and tear.

On top of that, Gore has maintained his durability, as he has played in every single game since the 2011 season while garnering at least 960 rushing yards in every campaign and topping 1,000 rushing yards five times over that span.

This could simply be a matter of him choosing what he wants to do at this point in his career, as the only thing that has truly eluded him has been a Super Bowl.

This may lead Gore to sign with a playoff contender in order to add that prestigious honor to his NFL career. Ultimately, it appears that there will be plenty of interest around the league for the fifth all-time leading rusher.
