Jalen Green, a 5-star combo guard in the 2020 recruiting class, appears to be considering taking an official visit with the Fresno State Bulldogs, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Here's what Green told Borzello about Fresno State:

“They're officially an option. … It's the hometown.”

The 6-5 combo guard, who attends Prolific Prep in California, is one of the most dynamic talents in the class and continues to survey his options before announcing his decision on Christmas Day.

He has already had visits to Auburn, Memphis, Oregon, and USC, and Borzello notes that UCLA is another team that has joined the mix.

Green is rated as the No. 2 combo guard and No. 3 player overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

Fresno State currently has two commitments in next year's class, with 3-star center Braxton Meah and 3-star small forward Leonardo Colimeria set to join the Bulldogs.
