Inazuma has a lot in store for veteran and newer players alike, and its breathtaking landscapes and intricate lore will definitely be something to behold. Certain players have taken up the art of optimizing character builds, and it is no doubt that the true endgame of optimization lies behind the artifact system of Genshin Impact.

In Genshin Impact version 2.0, two new artifact sets will be added for players to obtain. Domains in the new region and boss fights will likely drop these two new artifact sets.

Emblem of Severed Fate

The first one is the Emblem of Severed Fate, and its set bonuses are as follows:

2-piece Set: Energy Recharge +20%
4-Piece Set: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 25% of Energy Recharge. A maximum of 75% bonus DMG can be obtained this way.

This artifact set looks to be the new go-to 4-piece for Mona, as her talent allows for Energy Recharge stacking to significantly increase her damage. Certain Genshin Impact characters with powerful Elemental Bursts can also make good use of the set, with the likes of Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Beidou.

Shimenawa's Reminiscence

The second one is Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, and its set bonuses are as follows:

2-Piece Set: ATK +18%
4-Piece Set: When casting an Elemental Skill, if the character has 15 or more Energy, they lose 15 Energy, and Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 50% for 10s.

The mechanics of the 4-piece set bonus is still very unclear, whether characters still under the effect are able to lose energy or not. Regardless, Yoimiya as a carry will make good use of this artifact set. Other Genshin Impact characters relying solely on basic attacks like Keqing, Razor, and Ayaka, could also try to use this set, too. It has been a debate if Xiao can make use of this, due to his playstyle completely relying on charging his Elemental Burst.

Genshin Impact new artifacts in version 2.0

There might be more artifact sets to come in the following Genshin Impact version updates. Regardless, these two new additions look promising and can shake up the meta for those adept at optimization.
