Genshin Impact version 2.2 has been confirmed to include the Leyline Overflow Event once again. This will help both new and old players to stock up on EXP materials and Mora that they will be needing to improve their characters.

Leyline Overflow is a limited-time event that appears every now and then in Genshin Impact. It was last seen on version 2.0. During Leyline Overflow, players can complete Leyline Outcrops – Blossoms of Abundance and Blossoms of Revelation. To get Mora, one has to complete Blossoms of Abundance. Alternatively, completing Blossoms of Revelation will generate EXP materials.

During the event, the rewards players receive from the Leyline Outcrops are significantly increased. The amount they receive is equivalent to the amount they would have received had they used a Condensed Resin to harvest the materials. This means that each time a character harvests a Leyline Outcrop during the event and uses 40 Original Resin in the process, they would receive roughly double the spoils. This is a fast and easy way to collect Mora and EXP materials, depending on your need.

However, the bonus is only limited to three times a day. That means you cannot use Fragile Resins to replenish your Original Resin and repeating the loop over and over. The effects also do not stack – you cannot use a Condensed Resin and receive quadruple the rewards.

Currently, it has not been revealed yet when the Leyline Overflow Event for version 2.2 will be. Genshin Impact version 2.2: Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog, releases on October 13, 2021.
