The Serenitea Pot system in Genshin Impact has been one of the most interesting additions since the game’s launch. Housing systems have always been popular in RPG-like games, as players will have a place to call home in between periods of intense battle or exploration. The one in Genshin Impact is no different, and it can also be a hub for socialization, where different players can meet in places they’ve customized to their own liking. In version 2.2, there will be a lot of new additions to the Serenitea Pot system, along with a couple of quality-of-life changes, to enhance the experience of players investing in realm design.

New Realm Layout

As revealed in the Genshin Impact version 2.2 Special Program, a new Serenitea Pot Realm Layout, called the Silken Courtyard, will be available in version 2.2. This new realm has a wondrous atmosphere that is styled from Inazuman architecture and culture. The scene has a beautiful orange sunset at the horizon, overlooked by pristine Sakura trees, and with each piece of land connected by a bridge of floating Sakura blossoms.

To obtain this realm, players will need to have their Sacred Sakura’s Favor reach Level 40, which is not easy, but still obtainable.

Remarkable Chests and Blueprints

Inazuma-style furnishings are also set to arrive in version 2.2, but with a new way of obtaining their blueprints. Scattered throughout Tsurumi Island are Remarkable Chests, which can be opened to receive new blueprints for furnishings in the Serenitea Pot. Some chests are in the open, while some are hidden and not easy to locate. Apart from the chests, players can also obtain new blueprints from Tubby’s Shop, or by completing certain World Quests and future Events.

Floating Platforms

What if we used the vertical space in our Serenitea Pot? Well, miHoYo has an answer for that. In Version 2.2, a new furnishing type, called Floating Platforms, will be added. They can be moved along the x, y, and z axis, and players can also place certain furnishings on top of the Floating Platforms. With this, the Realms will be a bit more homely, now that the vertical space can be freely designed and customized.

Quality-of-Life Optimizations

Starting in Version 2.2, Blueprints can additionally be learned from the Create Furnishing section of the Teapot, through the Forge, or even through the Crafting Bench. Gone are the days when we still have to learn blueprints from the inventory.
