The Genshin Impact Version 2.7 Special Event Livestream just concluded and in case you missed it, here's what you should expect once the update ships.
Character and Weapon Wish Banners
Genshin Impact 2.7 Phase 1 – Yelan and Xiao
The Yelan banner Discerner of Enigma and the Xiao banner Invitation to Mundane Life, will run simultaneously in the first half of Genshin Impact 2.7. Many people have been waiting for Yelan due to the delays that caused Version 2.6 to be extended, and the Xiao rerun is timely considering the new Chasm domain that released an Artifact Set that is seemingly made for him.
The Weapon banner during this period will feature Yelan's and Xiao's signature weapons, the Aqua Simulacra and the Primordial Jade Winged Spear, respectively.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Phase 2 – Arataki Itto + Kuki Shinobu
The second half is monopolized by Arataki Itto's banner Oni's Royale. In this banner, Kuki Shinobu is one of the featured 4 stars. Thematically, this makes sense due to their involvement within the Arataki Gang.
Unfortunately, we did not receive any confirmation on what the Weapon banner will be during this period.
New Archon Interlude Chapter
This update will also bring an Archon Quest Interlude Chapter. In the preview image, it seems that the characters who will be involved in this Archon Quest are Yanfei, Kuki Shinobu, Yelan, Arataki Itto, and Xiao. During the stream, a cutscene was also shown where the Traveler once again has an encounter with the twin. The forlorn expression on Lumine's face in the cutscene was enough to induce goosebumps to those invested in the game's lore.

Kuki Shinobu Hangout Event
While not exactly a Limited Time event, Kuki Shinobu will be featured in her own Hangout Event titled The Gang's Daily Deeds.
Perilous Trail
The Traveler and Paimon come once again to The Chasm to investigate the mysteries of the depths, only to meet an unexpected guest and become embroiled in another crisis…
The event Perilous Trail involves the “Realms of Guile and War,” and is the biggest event of Genshin Impact Version 2.7. In the “Realms of Guile and War,” players may challenge 4 different Domains, of which the 4th will only unlock once the previous 3 have been completed.
This event will also award a free 4 star Bow called Fading Twilight, as well as its refinement material Glowing Gem.
A Muddy Bizarre Adventure
For reasons unknown, some dark mud-like substance has come pouring out of the caverns and mines of The Chasm. Help a Sumeru researcher deal with this crisis.
Go forth into The Chasm and help a researcher from Sumeru settle an ongoing crisis in which dark mud is spewing forth from its depths! From the first day of the event, a new quest will unlock each day. You must complete the previous day's quest to accept the newly-unlocked one. Complete the quests on each day to obtain the corresponding rewards.
Core of the Apparatus
A toy merchant from Fontaine has created a device in Inazuma that can fashion toys and furnishings as long as the right materials are inserted into it. Help him gather the materials with which some test products
Take the Material Collector with you to initiate Source Material Collection, Elemental Charge, and Core Activation to produce a mobile robotic furnishing according to the toy merchant's specifications. The robot's model type and motions will be determined by what you do during the three aforementioned processes, and once they have all concluded, they have a set chance to produce a special furnishing that can perform all three movements.
The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival
You have received a letter of most formal invitation from the Arataki Gang. It seems that Itto is inviting his friends to some kind of festive outing… So why not open it up?
A rhythm game-themed event organized by Arataki Itto himself! Besides drumming along to songs, this event also allows you to make your own musical scores, share them with your friends, and even play other people's musical scores!
QoL Updates and Other News
Domain Challenge Features
The newest addition to Domains, Challenge Features, will make it easier for players to find characters fit for the domain by giving out hints on what would benefit the most from the Ley Line Disorder.
Talent and Artifact Recommendations
With this new addition, you can now see how other people decide to build a certain character. In the Character Talent screen, the recommendation will show which Talent other players prioritized.
In the Artifact screen, you can see which main attribute are the most preferred by players to be on the same character. No more second-guessing or Google searching for builds!
The Chasm OST Album
If you're a lover of Genshin Impact Soundtrack, this is massive news for you. The Soundtrack for The Chasm titled “Millelith's Watch” composed by the HOYO-MiX team will release soon. Millelith's Watch will have three discs, and have 41 tracks in total.
Genshin Impact Funko Pops!
Genshin Impact collaborates with Funko Pop to bring the characters in the iconic Funko style! Right now, the announced figures are those of Aether, Lumine, and Paimon. There are some still under revision, such as Diluc, Keqing, and the Hilichurl.
