Genshin Impact leaks have been coming out like water out of a broken faucet for version 2.1.

While most eyes are turned towards the introduction of Baal, the Electro Archon and Raiden Shogun, there are a lot of other things coming for version 2.1. This is very impressive for miHoYo, as version 2.0 was already a massive update. To follow it up with yet another content-filled update shows just how much work the developers are putting into Genshin Impact.

Now, we're getting more and more leaks on what will be coming out for version 2.1. With the release of the gardening system for Genshin Impact‘s Serenitea Pot in version 2.0, the game's getting more and more side-activities that are divorced from the game's combat and story. In version 2.1, however, we're finally getting fishing.

Genshin Impact leaker Genshin Report revealed that the island of Watatsumi will be coming in version 2.1. According to Genshin Report, the island will bring with it a new fishing mechanic. Now, this makes Genshin the complete video game experience we've always wanted it to be.

Next up, Genshin Impact leaker abc64 corroborated Genshin Report's leak. In their own leak, they revealed “a new weapon type” – the Moonstringer Fishing Rod. Obviously, the new weapon type reveal was just a joke – as the Moonstringer will most likely be used for the game's new fishing mechanic.
