Genshin Impact 2.1 is coming soon, but miHoYo is implementing the Genshin Impact Ley Line Overflow Event to tide us over. This event will start on August 23 and end on August 30. It will be the last in-game event before Genshin Impact 2.1 drops on September 1.
Genshin Impact Ley Line Overflow Event
Participating players in the Genshin Impact Ley Line Overflow Event will be able to earn double rewards from Ley Line challenges. They simply need to complete Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation challenges during the event's duration.
The official event page reads:
“During the event, Travelers who successfully challenge a Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation and who consume Original Resin to obtain rewards will receive double the output. A total of 3 such bonuses will be available each day!”
Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation are obtained after the player reaches Adventure Rank 12. Additionally, they must complete the Ley Line Outcrop event. Blossoms of Wealth, which are yellow in color, reward players with mora. This is Genshin Impacts in-game monetary currency. It is used for buying goods in most shops in the game and is also required when leveling and ascending characters.
Meanwhile, Blossoms of Revelation are blue in color. They provide players with items that supply characters with experience points. These items are called Wanderer's Advice, Adventurer's Experience, and Hero's Wit.
Players should also note that each nation – Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma – contains one of each type of Blossom. The upcoming Genshin Impact Ley Line Overflow Event is sure to be useful to players waiting to roll for Genshin Impact 2.1's incoming characters. They'll be sure to need all these leveling and ascension resources.
