Rosaria wields the cryo element and a polearm, a unique pairing in Genshin Impact. Rosaria is a nun hailing from Mondstadt, known by the people of Monstadt for her sharp words and cold demeanor. She's a mysterious figure who often works alone and in the shadows.

Rosaria’s Elemental Skill, Ravaging Confession, allows her to dash behind small foes and strike them twice, dealing cryo damage. Her Elemental Burst, Rites of Termination, slashes surrounding foes and summon a frigid Ice Lance that strikes the ground. The Ice Lance then leaves a large field on the ground that periodically deals cryo damage over the duration of the Burst.

As for her talents, Night Walk gives players a boost in exploration. Night Walk increases the movement speed of your own party members by 10% during nighttime on the overworld.

Her second talent, Regina Probationum gives Rosaria an increased 12% Crit Rate for 5 seconds whenever she strikes an opponent from behind using her Elemental Skill.

As for her third and final talent, Shadow Samaritan provides all nearby party members (except Rosaria herself) 15% of Rosaria’s Crit Rate for 10 seconds.

Our first look into Rosaria’s Abilities and Talents tells us that she’s capable of fulfilling a lot of different roles in Genshin Impact. Her consistent cryo application and Crit-boosting talents make her fit into a lot of teams. Meanwhile, she's also able to deal a considerable amount of damage by herself.

Rosaria can be a flexible main DPS, where she can deal a lot of Physical or Cryo DPS, depending on the player. With her own cryo application, one can bring another electro character for superconductor reactions, increasing her Physical DPS significantly. On the other hand, she can utilize the Blizzard Strayer artifact set to gain a massive boost in Crit Rate, and the player can bring along Chongyun’s Elemental Skill so that Rosaria can fully convert her basic attacks to deal Cryo damage.

Supporting is also not a difficult task for Rosaria due to her Elemental Burst providing a lot of Cryo applications. This is great for melt teams with the likes of Diluc, Klee, and Hu Tao. Her Talents also provide free increased Crit rate for the whole party, and when paired with a Noblesse Oblige set, allows her to easily buff the damage of your team.

Despite having only being of 4-star rarity, Rosaria is a force to reckon with. She will probably see much use thanks to her accessibility, versatility, and crit-boosting talents for the whole party. Adding Rosaria on Genshin Impact version 1.4 to your pool of characters will definitely be a benefit.
