2012 Golden Gloves bantamweight champion Gervonta Davis was apparently in a near-fatal plane crash. We know most of this thanks to the boxing star sharing information on social media. Thanks to it going on social media, Jake Paul eventually weighed in, but more on that in a second.
“Damn that plane almost took (us) out,” Davis captioned an Instagram post that included four photos of Davis and his fellow passengers standing on the runway.
“I walk w angels,” Davis posted on an Instagram story later Saturday.
“For everybody that want to fly private, I think it's over with…I'm driving or catching a train,” Gervonta Davis later said on an Instagram Live post.
In a somewhat strange, if not delightful surprise, YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul reacted to the incident in about the nicest way a Paul would ever react to anything.

This is probably the first time I — and many of you — would agree with anything that comes out of Paul's mouth.
All of this being said, everyone is obviously thrilled that Gervonta Davis is okay. It is worth noting, though, that one person was treated on-site after pilots lost control of the plane. No one was taken to the hospital, however, and everyone seems to be (relatively) okay.
