With the NBA Finals starting tomorrow night, fans have been giving their take on who they think will win it all this year. Some of the league’s players and coaches also chimed in on the hot topic and gave their picks.

One of them is Milwaukee Bucks All-Star forward Giannis Anetokounmpo, who recently appeared on a TV event presented by Eurohoops.net, where he chose the Cleveland Cavaliers because of LeBron James leading their charge. He was also asked which team he'd prefer to play for between this year's finalists, and he picked the Eastern Conference Champions, as he can learn a lot from The King.

“I pick the Cavs because of LeBron James.”

“To the Cavs. I would like to see what’s he is doing, to learn from him. I would like to be close to him, my goal is this, because it’s like going to school. He said to me ‘well done, welcome,' when I scored my first bucket in the All-Star Game.”

While it is understandable that he will side with the team representing his conference, it is also worth noting that The Greek Freak made it known that he looks up to James and what he has done for the game of basketball.

There have been comparisons made by some fans pointing out the similarities they see between their styles of play, however, Antetokounmpo will be the first to admit that he has a long way to go before even reaching James’ career achievements. For now, he will be like a lot of basketball fans, watching the Finals intently starting on Thursday, and rooting for the Cavs.
