New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo better hope his family understands a conversation's settings being relative to the words he spews. A man who is on one of the hottest seats in all of the National Football League is claiming that the next seven weeks is the greatest opportunity life has ever provided him.

“It’s probably the greatest opportunity of my life, these next 7 weeks,” McAdoo said. “A lot of doubt out there, whether it’s in the building or not, but there’s doubt definitely on the outside. So we have a chance to flip the script the last seven weeks.”

A little seriousness before we go back to the jokes. Couldn't Big Bad Ben McAdoo have prefaced the greatest opportunity in a lifetime line with “professional.” Think about all the family he could alienate by saying football provides him with all the great stuff.

I am mostly kidding. People understand context, I think.

“There’s a possibility there’ll be some changes,” McAdoo said regarding the lineup. “I want us to play better. Our desire to finish has to improve.”

Lineup changes probably won't help the New York Giants at this point. The team is both riddled with injuries and just so happen to be not that good. While McAdoo receives a large portion of the blame, it hasn't helped him that his QB has aged like spoiled milk and the rest of the roster is average at best.

Still, at least he is looking at the next seven weeks with a positive mind.
