New York Giants fans have already made it very clear how they feel about quarterback Daniel Jones, but he knows that is something he can't focus on. Jones met with the media for the first time at the Giants facility on Friday and said that he knows he can't listen to what fans and media have to say about him, rather focusing on inside the organization and what he can do to get better.

“It’d be hard to be completely unaware of that stuff,” Jones said. “But I don’t focus on that. There’s a lot to focus on, there’s a lot to learn for me right now, being here, learning the offense, trying to pick up a lot of stuff, so I’m not sure I can afford to really focus on that too much.”

It's refreshing to hear Jones say that he does listen to what everyone is saying because if he said that he can completely block it out, that would be lying. It's only human nature to hear what others are saying about you, and there is no doubt that some of the comments from the fans and media have to hurt Jones.

The only thing that Jones can handle is how he performs on the field, and how he handles himself with the media and whatever others say about him, isn't in his control.

If Jones performs well when he gets a chance to start there is no question the fans are going to act like they always loved him.
