The New York Giants find themselves still in the race in the NFC East and they'll have their starting quarterback available on Sunday. According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Daniel Jones is set to make his return to the Giants against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.

Daniel Jones was forced to miss New York's Week 15 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, which led to Colt McCoy starting. The second-year quarterback of the Giants has missed two out of the past three weeks due to an assortment of injuries.

Back in Week 12, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jones suffered a hamstring injury that would prevent him from finishing the game. He would then be sidelined for New York's tilt with the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13 after being unable to practice during the week.

The former first-round pick would then make his return to the field in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals. However, he would sustain an ankle injury, giving him another injury to deal with along with his hamstring ailment.

Despite having to recover from hamstring and ankle injuries, Jones has made enough progress to return again versus the Ravens. Baltimore's defense is coming off of a game where they sacked Gardner Minshew five times and forced a fumble on him.

In the 12 games that Jones has started this season, he's thrown for only 2,462 yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He's also fumbled the ball 10 times while losing five of them. Even though it's easier said than done, Jones will have to take care of the ball against the Ravens in his return under center for the Giants on Sunday.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are coming off a 40-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 at home.
