New York Giants owner John Mara continues to put his utmost confidence in the capabilities of his quarterback in Daniel Jones upon heading to the 2021 NFL season. He strongly believes that the Duke alum can lead Big Blue back to the pinnacle of the league and even exceed the success of Eli Manning sooner than later.

“Do you believe Daniel Jones looks like a quarterback who will ultimately win a Super Bowl? “Yes he does,” Mara responded. “I can say that without any hesitation.”

“Good enough to win multiple Super Bowls like his predecessor, Eli Manning? “I don’t see why not,” the Giants CEO said, “if we put the right pieces around him.”

Mara and the rest of the team's front office already went to work as they completed a flurry of roster moves in the offseason. They acquired a handful of pieces who are expected to make an immediate impact alongside Jones on the field next season.

The Giants successfully acquired wide receiver Kenny Golladay from the Detroit Lions who was inked to a four-year, $72 million deal. Veteran offensive weapons were also hauled in by the team including the likes of tight end Kyle Rudolph and wideout John Ross.

On the other end of the field, cornerback Adoree' Jackson landed in the Big Apple as well by way of a three-year, $39 million deal while defensive tackle Leonard Williams received a fresh three-year extension to remain with the Giants.

It remains to be seen whether or not the team is already done with their roster shakeup midway through the offseason. However, as things stand today, the Giants should already be in a good position to improve from their 6-10 finish in the 2020 NFL season.

John Mara is hoping that the moves that they made along with the continuous development of Daniel Jones would eventually pay dividends and give them a shot at winning the franchise's fifth Super Bowl title soon.
