Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. declared for the NFL draft to nobody's surprise, and he already appears to have his sights set on where he wants to play. Haskins will be the first quarterback taken off the board in 2019 according to several expert mock drafts. Haskins better pray that he lasts through the first five picks as he hopes to play his for the New York Giants. Pro Football Talk's Darrin Gannt spoke about Haskins desire to be the Giants quarterback of the future.

“The former Ohio State quarterback, who declared for the 2019 NFL Draft this week, is openly musing about joining his boyhood favorite team, with a social media post of him Photoshopped into a Giants uniform, along with the message ‘Don’t let me go back to the crib.' He grew up in New Jersey.”

Haskins has made it clear that the playing with the Giants would be his preferred destination as well as it being a dream come true for him. Haskins already has a strong relationship with Giants star running back Saquon Barkley and Haskins clearly would love to join forces with the Giants' workhorse.

“I definitely was a big Giants fan growing up. Loved watching them. Seeing Saquon [Barkley], how well he’s playing, I’m close friends with him, known him since I was a sophomore in high school, and it’s been really cool watching him playing.”

Wherever Haskins winds up, he's an incredible talent and has a bright future in the NFL, so he'll have to wait until April.
