The New York Giants have followed up a disappointing 2017 campaign with another forgettable season in 2018. Although the storied NFL franchise saw a star emerge in the form of rookie running back Saquon Barkley, the team still struggled in their attempt to get back on track as they'll finish the season with at least 10 losses.

Ahead of the regular-season finale against the division rival Dallas Cowboys, the one question that continues to get asked is what the future holds for veteran quarterback Eli Manning. The two-time Super Bowl champion didn't do much this season to secure his starting job beyond this season, and he seems to be well aware of that fact as he admits to the uncertainty surrounding his future with the team, via Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.

With the running back position secure with Barkley coming out of the backfield for the foreseeable future and Odell Beckham Jr. being their top target downfield, it would be safe to assume the Giants will address the quarterback position during the upcoming NFL offseason.

It'll be interesting to see if bringing in another quarterback is the team's top priority and if Manning is in their future plans even if it is as a backup. New York has held on long enough with Manning under center, and the results aren't there anymore making this year the ideal time for a change considering the firepower they've got on offense with Barkley and Beckham.

Ahead of the regular-season finale, Manning has thrown for 3,998 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 15 games.
