The New York Giants were unable to secure a win at home on Sunday afternoon. “Big Blue” came up well short of rookie quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. After the Giants' 27-21 loss to the pedestrian Cardinals, veteran wide receiver Golden Tate was highly critical of New York's offensive performance against Arizona.

“That’s very frustrating,” Tate said of the team's latest loss, via NJ.com. “I mean, we made those guys look like the ’85 Bears. We had a great scheme. We just did not execute. I felt like a lot of times, we were kind of playing behind the sticks. We’ve just got to be better at details. We don’t need to be the best team in the league. We just need to be better than the team we’re going against. And today we just absolutely weren’t.”

The Giants' offense accounted for 14 points and a total of 263 yards against the Cardinals.

“I don’t want to say we’re taking steps backs,” Tate added. “We’re going to fix this crap. I think we’re going to be fine. I do not think we’re a bad team by any means. I believe we can win and we will win.”

Currently in the midst of his first season as a member of the lowly Giants, Golden Tate tallied six catches for 80 yards with a long reception of 20 yards. It is also worth noting that Tate was the Giants' leading receiver on Sunday afternoon against the Cardinals.
