New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. recently received an invitation into the DMs of another LSU alum. Famous Instagram model Lindsey Pelas attended the school at the same time Beckham was completing his collegiate career. While they're paths never crossed in undergrad, she seems to be open to the possibilities.

“I think … I should be on the receiving end … I might catch it,” said Pelas in an interview with TMZ sports.

Pelas commands an audience of 7.7 million followers on Instagram, just a few million off from the 11.5 million Beckham has accrued. Nevertheless, he knows much more about catching passes than throwing them. Beckham needs to be more focused on his team's Week 2 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

All eyes are on Beckham to perform this year. He signed a record-breaking $95 million deal just before the season, giving him the most lucrative contract a wide receiver has ever received in the NFL. His team lost 20-15 in their season opener with the Jacksonville Jaguars, which features the self-proclaimed best cornerback in the league, Jalen Ramsey.

While his team did lose, Beckham was no slouch. He recorded 11 receptions for 111 yards, but failed to reach the end zone. His team's star rookie running back Saquon Barkley ran for 106 yards and a score, but it was not enough.

The Giants will make their first road trip of the season heading into Dallas. This will be a more important matchup than their Week 1 loss, as the Cowboys are in their conference and just took a loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. If he gets a win and scores on Sunday, maybe he'll give Pelas a chance to make a play of her own.
