The New York Giants have themselves a lethal combination in Jason Garrett and Daniel Jones that could potentially turn the tide for the franchise that has been struggling for some time now.

Jones will be paired with Garrett, who is the new offensive coordinator of the Giants starting this 2020. According to former Giants QB Kerry Collins, the pairing is “absolutely phenomenal.”

“For a young guy like Jones, who has obviously shown a lot of ability, Jason is gonna help him immensely, with everything,’’ Collins told the New York Post. “He’s not just gonna be an X’s and O’s guy, he’s gonna talk about that position and what it means to be successful. I’m really excited to see that combination.”

Garrett is coming off his long tenure with the Dallas Cowboys where he ended his decade-long coaching job earlier this year. The Giants didn't wait long as they immediately signed their former player to be part of head coach Joe Judge's staff. The said signing, according to Collins, will benefit none other than their rising star.

“I’m sure Jason is gonna be heavily involved with Daniel’s development. I just could not think of a better guy to have with Jones right now. His brains, the kind of guy he is, I think that match will be just absolutely phenomenal.’’ Collins added.

Moves like this by the New York franchise only proves that they are all-in with Jones, and they're doing whatever they can to surround the 23-year old with the necessary talent he needs.

The Daniel Jones era for the Giants is upon us, and Jason Garrett has first dibs.
