It hasn't been a great year for the New York Giants, but no one on the team is having as bad of a time as wide receiver Jawill Davis right now.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Davis dislocated his knee cap while dancing in the Giants locker room, which is perhaps the most embarrassing way to suffer an injury.

What makes matters worse for Davis is that he was an undrafted rookie out of Bethune-Cookman, meaning he wasn't exactly guaranteed a roster spot going forward anyway.

Now, after this incident which resulted in a severely injured knee, you have to wonder about Davis' future with New York, or in the NFL in general. After all, knee injuries are no joke for wide outs.

In seven games this season, Davis caught four passes for 40 yards and served some return duty, taking back 12 punts for 89 yards and seven kickoffs for 171 yards.

The Giants will enter their season-ending matchup against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend with a record of 5-10, putting a period on what has been an incredibly disappointing season in the Big Apple.

New York has actually been playing much better of late, going 4-3 over its last seven games after a horrendous 1-7 start, but the Giants didn't really accomplish much of anything except worsening their draft position with their recent surge.

Since winning the Super Bowl during the 2011-12 campaign, the Giants have made the playoffs just once, falling to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round in the 2015-16 season.
