New York Giants head coach Joe Judge is now gearing up for his first season as a NFL head coach while the current climate certainly hasn't made things easy on the newcomer along the sideline. However, Judge has kept his team engaged by way of virtual meetings in order to still connect and learn even in the midst of a global pandemic.

“We’re trying to make everything as normal as we can,” Judge recently said on NBC Sports Network’s Lunch Talk Live. “We’re working virtually but we have to knock down some of these walls.”

Not only that, but Judge also made a point to mention the importance that video games are currently playing as his team continues to bond despite not being able to interact in person.

“The X’s and O’s are very important. What we’re missing right now is the lunchroom conversations, the weight room conversations, walking off the field in Phase 2 or Phase 3 and taking off our cleats together,” Judge added. “Those are things we just can’t replicate through a computer.”

The Giants are not expected to compete at a very high level in 2020 with New York and the rival Washington Redskins still rebuilding from the ground up. However, the Giants now have the team's quarterback, running back, tight end and left tackle of the future already in East Rutherford as New York should take a step on the right direction this time around.

Unfortunately, the Giants will need to begin to turn things around under the direction of a first-year NFL head coach, who is currently leading an offseason schedule unlike any other.
