The New York Giants offense is going to look very similar to the offense that the Dallas Cowboys have run for the last ten years according to coach Joe Judge. After bringing in Judge to be the head coach, they also hired former Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, so it makes sense he would bring with him the offense he ran in Dallas.

“I think schematically the easiest way to describe it right now to the outside world is: It’s going to be similarly based on what Jason has done in Dallas over the last 10 or so years. There’s going to be some similarities catering to that, but it’s got to cater to our players on our roster.”

Judge did say they will cater to the players on the roster, but in terms of skill sets, some players are similar. Garrett had the Cowboys run the ball a lot with Ezekiel Elliott. The Giants have Saquon Barkley who should be touching the ball a lot.

The Cowboys also liked to push the ball down the field with the passing game. If that part is a big part of the Giants offense, Daniel Jones will probably be slinging the ball down the field. There also should be a big focus on tight end Evan Engram if he can stay healthy. The Cowboys offense looked to Jason Witten a lot in 2019, even with the other playmakers outside.

For Giants fans, it can look as close to the Cowboys offense as it wants, as long as they are winning games.
