The New York Giants embarrassing themselves is business as usual. The ring leader of their circus, head coach Joe Judge, stood up and defended his team after a 29-3 loss to the lowly Chicago Bears.

Per NJ.com's Zack Rosenblatt, Judge went on a rant that lasted over 10 minutes after the game. In his NSFW diatribe, he praised the culture of his 4-12 team and said that players who left New York in free agency wish they hadn't.

You guys ain’t been in the building for two years now with this COVID shit, right? I’ll tell you right now, if you’re in the damn building, if you walk on through our locker room, you ain’t seeing the crap you saw before. All right? You ain’t seeing guys planning vacations, you ain’t seeing golf clubs in front of players lockers, you ain’t seeing that stuff…That’s not because this is some high school program we’re practicing with. It’s because our guys understand how to play together as a team.

Judge also suggested that there were numerous things heading in the right direction for the Giants and that he was proud of how the team fought today. Although the Giants have been dealing with several injuries, their performance this season has been ugly at its best and utterly miserable at its worst. They're so bad that Johnny Manziel is clowning them.

Although general manager Dave Gettleman is likely on his way out, Judge will remain the Giants head coach. Although the roster around him is poor, he has mismanaged his talent. There is very little hope for anything to change for the better as the Giants stare down another lost season.

Judge's never-say-die mentality has seemed out of place on a lifeless team, though he will have at least one more chance to turn things around.
