The New York Giants couldn't get things done against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13, stumbling to a 20-9 defeat on the road. Typically after a tough loss, most players prefer to put it behind them and look towards the next game. Not Logan Ryan.

The Giants DB tried to roast Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa while talking to the media after the loss, and even managed to throw some shade at Mike Glennon in the process, via Zack Rosenblatt.

Ryan told reporters that he would be available to the Giants as an emergency QB if needed, considering that was his high school position. “I'm a lot like Tua, I can throw two-yard passes to the left,” Ryan remarked. A bit ironic considering the man Ryan essentially called a dump-off specialist torched his secondary for 244 yards and a pair of touchdowns. If the short pass is the only thing working, Tagovailoa was smart to exploit it, and he did just that to the fullest possible extent.

Rather than fire shots at opposing second-year quarterbacks, perhaps Ryan and the Giants should be focused on how to contain an offense throwing mostly short passes.

Additionally, while unintentional, it's also easy to see Ryan's remarks as a shot at Giants backup QB Mike Glennon, who struggled in the loss. Glennon completed 23-of-44 passes with no touchdowns and one interception, failing to provide much of a spark for the Giants' offense. For Ryan to suggest he could fill in at the position for the Giants shows a significant lack of confidence in Glennon, who is the starter while Daniel Jones is on the sideline.
