According to a recent report from Jordan Raanan of ESPN, the New York Giants will not be moving on from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. this NFL offseason. While the rumor mill continues to churn when it comes to Beckham Jr., the Giants are often linked to the idea of trading the prolific pass catcher with this offseason being no different.

However, Beckham Jr. and soon-to-be second-year running back Saquon Barkley appear to be the future of the struggling NFC East franchise. Even so, the rumors continue to roll in as the Giants don't appear primed to turn things around any time soon.

It is worth noting, though, that there would surely be a market for the veteran wideout if the Giants ever did decide to trade him. With the San Francisco 49ers at the top of the list of potential suitors, head coach Kyle Shanahan recently commented on the value of adding high profile veteran players to his roster in the Bay Area.

“You take it into account with everything,” Shanahan said, via NBC Sports. “That’s why you like to deal with people you know and have an idea on. We try to hold everyone accountable on our team. We’re pretty consistent with that. So if someone isn’t like that, yeah, we do have a problem with that. I don’t think anyone is good enough to deal with that.”

At this point in the 2019 NFL offseason, everything should be taken with a grain of salt due to the very thin line between fact and fiction.
