New York Giants superstar wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., has always been outspoken about himself and his team. After the Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers 27-23 on Monday Night Football, Beckham had a lot to say about his fellow teammates, especially the men blocking their longtime quarterback, Eli Manning.

Following the team's second win of the season, the perennial Pro Bowler had this to say about his quarterback and the key to success for the offense to click moving forward, via Dan Schneier of 247 Sports.

“When he’s got time to throw, he’s going to be dangerous. The O-line has just got to do a better job like they did this week at blocking for Eli, giving him time.” He followed that up by saying, “If they can do that, it’s going to be tough to stop.”

The 2018 NFL season is pretty much a wrap for the Giants. Their 2-7 record is the worst in the NFC East and second worst in the conference. If the right pieces are put into place for New York, the sky is the limit for them, however. It starts with protecting their quarterback. Right now, it’s Manning, but in the next couple of years, their future will be under center.

The Giants can’t do much damage with the way their team is built right now, contrary to what Odell believes. However, last week's game gives Giants fans hope for the future.
