New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is working his way back from a nagging quad injury that forced him to miss last Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Through the first few days of this week, there has remained much uncertainty around his availability for the Giants' Week 15 action against the Tennessee Titans. According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, head coach Pat Shurmur has stated that the 25-year-old will not be able to participate in Wednesday's practice but he has seen some improvement.

Beckham Jr. may still be unable to take the practice field, but it is an encouraging sign that he is hedging toward making his way back to play this year. There had been no indication prior to last Sunday that he was dealing with a quad issue as he wasn't listed on the injury report. In fact, he hadn't been declared out of the lineup until the morning of their tilt against the Redskins.

New York was able to get by without one of their primary offensive weapons as they cruised past Washington 40-16 behind another strong effort from standout rookie running back Saquon Barkley, who notched a season-high 170 rushing yards and a touchdown. Tight end Evan Engram had three catches on five targets for 77 receiving yards while wide receiver Sterling Shepard had a pair of catches for 17 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Beckham Jr. has been the clear-cut top receiving option for the Giants that has seen him provide a strong level of production as he has notched 77 catches for 1,052 receiving yards and six touchdowns. This has marked his fourth campaign with 1,000 receiving yards and 75 receptions.

Ultimately, there should be more clarity on the Beckham front in the coming days as he will have to get back on the practice field before he can be on track to play this week.
