In his first two seasons in the league, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has quickly established himself as a premier talent at his position that has earned a tremendous amount of respect from his peers.
Among those is New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who stated on Wednesday morning that he believes Ramsey is one of the top two cornerbacks in the league heading into the 2018 campaign, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.

This type of praise from Beckham Jr. is noteworthy given that he is also one of the top players in the league at his own respective position. He has seen his fair of cornerbacks through his first four years and has had to dual it out with many formidable challenges along the way. This will mark the first time that he will have played him in his career as Ramsey has taken the field against the Giants in either of his first two years.
The 23-year-old is coming off a breakout campaign where put himself on the map behind his stellar play that helped him earn his first Pro Bowl selection and First-Team All-Pro nod. Ramsey put up strong performances against many of the game's top wide receivers that helped separate him as one of the top cornerbacks in the league that has seen him earn much respect for his play. Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown has already voiced that he is the individual matchup in the league that he's looking forward the most this upcoming season.
Nonetheless, this sets the table for what should be an entertaining matchup between two of the league's most talented players in the league that may see several notable plays unfold on the field in what could be one of the must-watch games of Week 1 action.
