Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. may not think too highly of his former New York Giants organization, but he doesn't hold that same type of contempt for Eli Manning.

When asked about Manning being benched in favor of Daniel Jones this week, Beckham said he has “nothing but love” for the first NFL quarterback he ever played with, via Jake Trotter of ESPN.

Beckham, who was traded to the Browns back in March, was originally selected by the Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He instantly stamped his name among the best wideouts in the league in New York, hauling in 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

The 26-year-old went on to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons with the Giants, with his best year coming in 2015 when he caught 96 passes for 1,450 yards and 13 scores.

However, during his final two seasons with Big Blue, Beckham's controversial comments became a distraction for the franchise, and he played in just 16 games overall those two years due to various injuries.

The Giants signed Beckham to a six-year contract extension during the summer of 2018, but the organization decided to move on from him after a 2018 campaign in which he snared 77 balls for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games.

New York received a first-round draft pick, a third-rounder and young safety Jabrill Peppers in return for Beckham.

The Browns have gotten off to a 1-1 start and will face Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
