Hall of Fame quarterback thinks that it's going to be hard for Eli Manning to deal with his benching by the New York Giants.

Bradshaw knows how much football means to Manning and knows if he would have been told the Pittsburgh Steelers he was being benched after two weeks he would have packed his bags and left.

“I hope Eli’s OK with it, because he’s such a good dude. I hope he’s OK with it. I’m sure he isn’t,” Bradshaw told FOX Business. “If they came to me in Pittsburgh after two weeks and they said ‘Terry, we’re going to have to go with so-and-so, I’d shake their hands, I’d pack my bags and I’d go home, because that would be a hard pill to swallow after all of that. I understand why they did it, but it is a hard pill to swallow for Eli.”

Manning hasn't packed his bag and by all reports has taken the benching in stride. There are still questions though about where the Giants and Manning go from here.

It's hard to imagine that Manning would retire midseason because he is making over $11 million in base salary this season. Manning also has a no-trade clause in his contract so if the Giants were wanting to trade him away he would have to approve any offer.

If Manning is on the sideline Sunday (which all signs point toward) it will be interesting to watch his body language and if it has changed any now that he has lost the starting job.
