All hope is lost for the New York Giants this season. Not even the addition of running back Saquon Barkley can turn their fortunes around.

The Giants are currently rebuilding with a lot of holes in their lineup needing to be filled in the future.

Starting quarterback Eli Manning is 36 years old and he has a few years left in his tank. The Giants are currently in a position to get a high pick in the 2019 Draft and they might find Manning's replacement next year.

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has a lot of hope for his struggling team. He stated in an interview Thursday that “he's trusting the process” as per SNY.

“This is a winning organization. They've won in the past. We just got to trust the process, and at some point in time, the goal is to obviously hang a banner and raise that trophy,” Beckham said. “All you can do is be optimistic and keep pushing forward and getting better.”

Beckham has expressed his confidence despite the fact that the Giants are one of the worst teams in the league right now. Their 3-8 record is only better than three teams right now.

He used the Philadelphia 76ers' mantra to aid his belief that it's going to be tough for the Giants before it gets better.

The Sixers were among the worst teams in the NBA in a five-year span from 2012 to 2017. Their 10-72 record in the 2015-16 season was absolutely putrid. But they believed that they were capable of bouncing back.

They did so because they had a handful of good picks in the past NBA Drafts. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are the future of the NBA, and luckily for Philadelphia, they managed to pick them.

Beckham Jr. is now in his fifth season. This campaign has not been so kind to them. But he keeps in mind that he has been part of the previous Giants team that made the playoffs.
