The Philadelphia Eagles jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead against the New York Giants on Thursday evening. However, the New York Giants wasted absolutely no time in responding as quarterback Daniel Jones and wide receiver Golden Tate managed to tie the game at seven points apiece before the end of the first quarter.

With the Giants trailing the Eagles by the score of 7-0 late in the opening frame, Jones connected with Tate for a 39-yard touchdown, a score that was the veteran wide receiver's first of the season. Not only that, but Tate's 39-yard touchdown catch was his longest reception of the 2020-21 campaign as well.

Of course, Tate briefly suited up for the Eagles following a lengthy stay as a member of both the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions. Now playing in a rivalry game against the Eagles, perhaps Tate is out for a bit of revenge on Thursday evening in the “City of Brotherly Love.”
